Barnardo’s works with over 14,000 children, young people and their families in services across the Yorkshire region.
The Firecracker Ball chose Barnardo’s as its charity in 2002 due to their belief that a child’s future should never be defined by their past and encouraging children to believe in themselves. Thomas Barnardo, opened his first home in Yorkshire and for over 150 years, Barnardo’s has transformed the lives of so many children and young people.
