Stars donate to Firecracker Ball's public auction in bid to break £3m fundraising barrier

Dame Darcy Bussell, Heather Small & Bruce Oldfield, Gabby & Kenny Logan, Matthew Wolfenden and Christopher Biggins are among the celebrities offering personalised prizes.

Huge names from the world of entertainment, business, sport and beyond have united to donate a record number of exclusive items and once-in-a-lifetime auction prize opportunities for the upcoming charity event, the Firecracker Ball, in support of Barnardo’s, taking place at Rudding Park on Saturday 9th November. 

A few lucky bidders will have the chance to go aboard a three-day luxury yacht charter in the bay of Palma, whilst sport fans will have an array of prizes to bid for including signed sporting memorabilia and a fantastic luxury weekend in Monaco, with access to the Monaco Grand Prix. This incredible prize offers one lucky bidder flights and accommodation at the renowned 5-star Grand Hyatt Martinez Hotel.

Music fans will not only have a chance to bid for concert tickets and see the likes of The Who and Snow Patrol, and you can see legend Rod Stewart when two lucky winners will receive  VIP tickets to his concert in Leeds on 11th December. The prize includes early VIP entry with great seats; Black and White lounge access, a glass of Laurent-Perrier Champagne on arrival, and a 3-course fine dine meal.

Fans of Christopher Biggins have the opportunity to enjoy a 5-course dinner at the home of Phil Taylor, or the winners own home, for up to eight people on a mutually agreeable weekend date.

Also up for grabs is a special 3 night  Michelin star dining experience in Girona, a three-day stay in the unique ICEHOTEL in Lapland, tickets to ladies day at Chester Festival, a Bayswater bag in Rosewater and a bespoke Sonata London silk dress. There will be private dining opportunities, luxury lingerie sets, sporting experience, plus lots more.

The Firecracker Ball has become the most significant event in the Yorkshire social calendar helping to change the lives of thousands of children and young people across Yorkshire. Since 2002, the ball has raised almost £2.8m for Barnardo’s causes.
